Bio
My name is Tony DeMatio, and I remix under the alias of AudioDile, formerly DJ Croc. Born in Michigan but having lived in the California Bay Area for nearly a decade, I have been a slave to the music for 33 years and counting. I've also played the drums, keyboard and written some original songs in the past, but nothing particularly noteworthy.
I bought my first 12" single in 1983, and shortly thereafter I became a remix junkie. I was inspired to make dual cassette deck remixes that were ambitious failures, but years later I decided to try again with new technology. I used Cool Edit Pro exclusively for a while until I met another remix junkie from Chicago who goes by Rhythm Scholar, who fortunately showed me a multitracking program called Multiquence.
